HEALING RETREAT

COME FOR REST, HEALING, & HOPE

These short but impacting retreats are a perfect addition to any Safari or trek you may have already planned during your travels to Tanzania. Each retreat offers yoga classes, meditation, healing, along with a range of cultural exploration and activities with local guides.

2 day yoga & healing retreat

AVAILABLE DATES: inquire for availability

DURATION: 2 days

PRICING: Starting at $200 per person (all inclusive)

4 day yoga & healing retreat

AVAILABLE DATES: inquire for availability

DURATION: 4 days

PRICING: Starting at $600 per person (all inclusive)

Find full stillness in your soul with a longer retreat. We will really slow down the pace of life and live like the locals, finding a deep appreciation for the way of life in Tanzania. On a 4 day retreat, you can still expect 2 yoga classes, a meditation, and healing session. However, we will also take some time to go deeper into reflective journaling, pranayama techniques, and a more tailored herbal and nutritional healing program.

community yoga classes

AVAILABLE DATES: inquire for availability

DURATION: 75 - 90 minutes

PRICING: $7pp for drop in class. $15pp for private class at lodge

Community Classes offer guests an opportunity to join others at a beautiful shala in Moshi town to practice yoga or meditation among the banana trees and rhythm of the village. You can also reserve a private class, and Marissa will travel to your lodge for a 90 minute morning or afternoon class. Classes will leave you feeling restored and ready for whatever you have planned next. Our yoga classes would make a great addition to your Kilimanjaro climb!

N.B. All proceeds from safaris, yoga retreats, and yoga classes will fund the non-profit Amani Light and allow local schools and youth programs in Tanzania and America to access the healing tools of yoga and mindfulness.

Marissa Lipovsky is a 200 hour certified yoga teacher as well as a 100 hour certified children’s yoga teacher.
